Millstone Art & Antiques workshop is situated in the historic village of Lower Tean on the A522 near to Uttoxeter and set amidst the wonderful countryside of the Staffordshire Moorlands.

Since the romans settled here by the little river Tean nearly two thousand years ago the area around the villages have been a hive of industrial development. From iron smelting, flint milling to the more recent and modern textiles industry of the sixteenth century our little village has seen it all.

Now it is mostly agriculture that supports the area together with JCB Excavators and Alton Towers. Though quieter since the building of the A50 by-pass in the nineties and the loss of our village shop, we are still surrounded by the beauty of the Staffordshire Moorlands and need only to take a short drive to be in the midst of the beautiful Moorlands and the Derbyshire Dales.

Due to
significant overhead increases
we have regretably closed
the Ashbourne shop & gallery
and returned to our
original showroom
& workshop.
