A rare pair of beautiful multi-sectioned rosewood veneer coffee tables on to rich mahogany base.
33" diameter x 18" height
(84cms x 46cms)
In the style of Peter Hvidt and Ola Molgaard-Nielsen from the Danish school of early and mid twentieth century designers. Probably made by France & Son in the mid to late 1950's.
The Royal Academy of Copenhagen saw the opening of the Arts & Crafts School by Kaare Klint (1888-1954) and the development of many famous designers in Denmark throughout the twentieth century.
